Where we work

Roofing across the Charlotte metro

The metro and the towns around it are home, on both sides of the state line — and we travel further into the Carolinas when the job warrants it. Rather than publish a list of towns and pretend the map has hard edges, here is how we actually decide.

How we decide

What actually determines whether we take a job

Four things, none of which is a line on a map.

The metro first, then distance

Anywhere in the Charlotte metro is a yes. Past that we still travel — there is no line on a map, so send us the address and we will give you a straight answer rather than a maybe.

The size of the job

A full replacement justifies a longer drive than a single pipe boot. For smaller repairs well outside the metro, we will tell you if a closer contractor makes more sense for you.

Whether it is an emergency

Active leaks and storm damage move to the front of the queue, and emergency tarping is available across the whole area we work.

Permits and jurisdiction

Mecklenburg, the surrounding counties, and the South Carolina side each handle permitting differently. We file in whichever one your property sits in. That is our job, not yours.

Why we stay put

Rooted in Charlotte, on purpose

After every big hailstorm, out-of-state crews arrive, work a season, and leave. Their prices can look good and their work sometimes is. The problem shows up in year four, when a seam opens and the number on the warranty paperwork rings to a disconnected line.

Staying rooted in one metro is the whole point. It is what lets us honor a 5-year craftsmanship warranty, and it is why we would rather tell you a job is outside what we can cover well than take it and do it badly.

Questions

Coverage questions

Easiest answer is a phone call:(555) 123-4567

How do I know if you cover my address?
If you are in the Charlotte metro, we cover you. Beyond that, call or send the address through the form and we will tell you straight away. We are not going to string you along about a job we cannot properly service — if you are outside what we can cover well, we will say so.
Do you work outside the Charlotte area?
Yes, when the job warrants the drive. The Charlotte metro is our home market and the majority of our work, but the Carolinas are open to us and we take jobs further out regularly. Ask — the worst answer you get is an honest no.
Do you charge extra for the outer edge of your range?
No. Travel is not a line item on our estimates. If a job is far enough out that it genuinely changes the economics, that is a conversation we have before you get a quote, not a surprise on the invoice.
Do you work on the South Carolina side?
Yes. The Charlotte metro crosses the state line, so this comes up constantly. Permitting, code enforcement, and insurance claim handling all differ between the two states, and we are set up for both — we handle the filing either way rather than leaving it to you to work out.
Will you actually still be here for the warranty?
That is the right question to ask any roofer, and it is why we stay put in Charlotte rather than chasing storms across the country. Your 5-year craftsmanship warranty is only worth what the company behind it is worth in year four.
