What happens after you call

    Free inspection

    We get on the roof, photograph what we find, and check the attic and ventilation. You get the photos whether or not you hire us.

    Clear written estimate

    Line-item pricing with the actual materials named — no vague "roof system" lump sums. If a repair makes more sense than a replacement, we say so.

    Scheduling and prep

    We handle permits and HOA documentation, confirm your install date, and protect landscaping and driveways before the first shingle comes off.

    Installation and cleanup

    Most residential roofs finish in a day. We magnet-sweep the property for nails before we leave and walk the job with you.

    Warranty and follow-up

    You get both warranties in writing — our 5-year craftsmanship warranty and your manufacturer coverage, up to 20 years — plus a follow-up after the first heavy rain.

Roofing questions we hear most

How do I know whether I need a repair or a replacement?
It comes down to the age of the roof and whether the damage is localized. Under roughly twelve years with isolated damage, repair is almost always the better value. Past eighteen years with problems on multiple slopes, replacement is. In between it is a genuine judgment call, and we will show you the inspection photos and walk through the economics rather than just telling you what to do.
What kind of roofs do you work on?
Asphalt architectural shingle is the majority of our work and the right material for most homes around Charlotte. We also install standing seam and exposed fastener metal where the roof and the budget suit it.
Do you ever lay new shingles over old ones?
No. A layover hides rotted decking, traps heat that shortens the life of the new shingles, prevents proper ice and water membrane in the valleys, and voids enhanced manufacturer warranties. We tear off to the bare deck every time.
How long is the warranty?
You get two: a 5-year craftsmanship warranty from us on the installation, and the manufacturer warranty on the materials, which runs up to 20 years depending on the product line. Both come to you in writing, in plain language, at the end of the job.
