Why homeowners pick us

The parts of this business we actually control

Every roofer says they do quality work. These are the specific, checkable things we do differently.

We tell you when you don’t need a roof

If a repair buys you five more years, that is what our estimate will say. We would rather lose one sale than sell you a roof you did not need.

Line-item estimates, not lump sums

Every estimate names the actual materials and prices each component. You can compare it to any other bid line by line, because a single "roof system" number tells you nothing.

Local, and staying local

Charlotte is where we work and where we stay. When you need us back on the roof years after the job, we will be a phone call away — not a company that followed a hailstorm out of state.

Manufacturer coverage in writing

Manufacturer coverage on the materials runs up to 20 years depending on the product line, and the paperwork comes to you in plain language at the end of the job.

Full tear-off, every time

We never lay new shingles over old ones. Layovers hide rotted decking, shorten the life of the new roof, and void enhanced manufacturer warranties.

You get the photos either way

Every inspection comes with dated photographs of everything we found — yours to keep whether you hire us or take them to another contractor.

Roofing specialists first

We do siding, gutters, and paint well. But roofing is the trade we are built around, and it is where our crews spend the overwhelming majority of their time.

How it works

What happens after you call

A roof is a decision most people make once or twice in their life. Not knowing what comes next is the most common reason homeowners stall — so here is the whole sequence.

  1. 1

    Free inspection

We get on the roof, photograph what we find, and check the attic and ventilation. You get the photos whether or not you hire us.

  2. 2

    Clear written estimate

Line-item pricing with the actual materials named — no vague "roof system" lump sums. If a repair makes more sense than a replacement, we say so.

  3. 3

    Scheduling and prep

We handle permits and HOA documentation, confirm your install date, and protect landscaping and driveways before the first shingle comes off.

  4. 4

    Installation and cleanup

Most residential roofs finish in a day. We magnet-sweep the property for nails before we leave and walk the job with you.

  5. 5

    Warranty and follow-up

You get your manufacturer coverage in writing, up to 20 years, plus a follow-up after the first heavy rain.

Where we work

Serving the Charlotte metro

The metro and the towns around it are home, and we travel further into the Carolinas when the job warrants it. Rather than publish a town list and pretend the map has hard edges, tell us the address and we will give you a straight answer.

How we decide
  • The metro, and further when asked

Charlotte and the surrounding areas are home. Past that we still travel — send the address and we will give you a straight answer.

  • Both sides of the state line

The metro crosses into South Carolina. Permitting and claim handling differ; we file either way.

  • Here year-round, not chasing storms

It is what lets us come back years later when a roof we installed needs us.

Financing available

A roof is rarely a planned expense. We offer financing options so a necessary replacement does not have to wait for a leak to force the decision.

Financing options

Storm damage & insurance claims

We document damage properly, meet your adjuster on the roof, and file supplements when the scope misses covered work. Hail damage is usually invisible from the ground.

All FAQs
How much does a new roof cost?
Cost is driven by roof size, pitch, and complexity, so any firm number quoted without measuring is a guess. We measure the roof, inspect the attic, and give you a written line-item estimate at no charge — with the actual materials named, not a single lump sum.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most single-family homes are torn off and reroofed in one day. Larger or more complex roofs, or jobs with significant decking replacement, run two to three days.
Do you help with insurance claims?
Yes. We document damage with dated photographs, meet your adjuster on the roof, and file supplements when the scope misses covered damage. We do not negotiate claims on your behalf — that is public adjusting and requires a separate license in North Carolina.
What warranty do you offer?
The manufacturer warranty on the materials runs up to 20 years depending on the product line, and you get it in writing at the end of the job. We also issue our own written warranty on the installation itself — flashing, fastening, underlayment, penetration detailing. The warranties page lays out what each one covers.
Is the roof inspection really free?
Yes, with no obligation. You get the full photo report and our written assessment whether or not you hire us. If your roof is in good shape, we will tell you that.
What areas do you serve?
Primarily the Charlotte metro and the surrounding areas, on both the North and South Carolina sides of the line. We travel further into the Carolinas when the job warrants it, but we do not publish a town list or a mileage figure — how far a job is worth travelling depends on the job as much as the distance. Send us the address and we will tell you straight away.
Do you do more than roofing?
Roofing is our core trade and the majority of what we do. We also handle siding, seamless gutters, and exterior painting — most often alongside a roof project, since the transitions between those systems are where water problems usually start.

Get a straight answer about your roof

A free, documented inspection tells you what shape your roof is actually in — and whether you need work now or in five years. We will tell you either way.
